Diesel Herr Kolla På DZ1513

I wanted a watch for the modern guy, one that would blend in well with that casual jeans look; one that wasn't formal and not too expensive because 'casual' means it's going to be worn a lot and go through its paces. The watch I was specifically looking for had to be analogue, round, with a black dial, minimalist appearance and have a brown (not black) leather strap for that modern easy-going appearance. I was personally looking at any of the more well-known brands for that casual look with a retail price between £80-£150 . I searched the net high and low and eventually found the very watch I was looking for in the Diesel Mens Franchise Black Dial Tan Leather Strap DZ1513 model. I found the best deal at ChrisElli. The sale price was great, even more so with the added 7% January discount and that extra 5% discount off my first order had I remembered - oh, well. The final buying price was an absolute no brainer for this elegant watch even though it's an older Diesel model which was not an issue. Diesel watches are on the big size so there's big and huge. I wanted a watch on this occassion that was on the larger size (more than a standard 38mm) but not on the scale of the huge 50+mm watches (not for me, thank you). At the 45mm mark this watch was perfect and would sit well on my 'middle-aged' wrist. The cylindrical bezel front of brushed stainless steel/mineral glass and polished stainless side casing with cross-hatched patterning is classy. The black dial is crisp, clear minimalist excepting the only bold digits 02, 03 & 04 which gives the face its unique appeal - not for everyone I guess. There's no date which is good as it doesn't distract - besides lots of us carry smartphones today. The genuine leather tan strap is solid, smart and on the wider side so carries the watch nicely and holds two strap loops. The clasp buckle is brushed too and the strap should fit many sized wrists - I have 6 spare notches and I don't have thin wrists. The watch is not thin or light nor is it too heavy though and really sits comfortably in place. It's water resistant but I never take watches into any waters - why? - enough said. My wife loves the watch - tick. No faults or flaws as of yet. Remember, watch images can be deceptive - size, colour, texture, tone can be perceptually 'out' so if still in doubt find the watch's model number and search out images and videos (check well known net providers) to see if the watch is for you.
